Odd layering....

The mani I'm just about to show you is a little strange =]


Lets get straight to the pics and you'l see in a minute why...






I started off with two coats of Rimmel's Starlet which is a pretty pink/lilac glass-fleck polish loaded with silver and red shimmer. Yes red shimmer too! My bestie gave me this polish, so a huge thank you to her =]


Ok now comes the er... odd part =P


I decided to add a layer of OPI Katy Perry's Last Friday Night!

At first I was going for OPI Katy Perry's Teenage Dream to layer over the top... since that makes sense right, pink polish + pink glitter?
But then I caught sight of LFN and just couldn't resist so swatched it on my pinkie and then loved the result so did a full mani with it =]


What do you guys think of this odd combo?? Done any weird but pretty layering recently?

    Great combo! It's not weird at all (: You still coordinated it really well--cool pink with cool toned glitter? At least I think they're both cool toned haha
